Let Them Hear of our Love

Ephesians 1:15a says, “For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love”

Paul was thankful for a group of Christians in Ephesians because he had been hearing reports of their steadfast faith and their love for each other. This is just one example of the fact that when people genuinely exude unconditional love, word gets around. God calls his people to be loving in large part because it reveals His Kingdom to the world. Love also benefits us because it gets us into right relationship with God and others.

I cannot think of a single thing that would be better to be defined by then by being a loving person. That should be our single greatest legacy as Christians. So today’s call is very simple, find some practical way to show love today and put it into practice. Nothing could be more worth your time.

Examples:

  1. Send an encouraging text to your friend.
  2. Bring coffee to a busy coworker.
  3. Make a donation to a non-profit organization.
  4. Offer to babysit for a couple of young kids.

It benefits, you, them and the world. Make your life matter by walking in love.
